Fundrella secures new funding and strengthens its board

Emelie Meurk Demerud joins Fundrella’s Board of Directors and the company tops up with fresh capital as new product development lies ahead. With tech, AI and product expertise, Meurk Demerud will be an important addition to Fundrella’s Board as the company is shifting to intelligent use of data.
Fundrella is disrupting the ways funds are being selected. With over 80 global asset management companies on the platform, exposing their funds to professional investors in the Nordics and the Netherlands with combined investable assets of 630+ billion Euro, Fundrella ́s coverage and ESG data set is growing quickly and the company is now looking for new ways to leverage that data, and to efficiently provide asset managers and professional investors with actionable insights.
Fundrella is now using this momentum to focus on new tech solutions and AI to optimize the use of their unique and growing proprietary data to benefit asset managers and professional investors using their platform. Fundrella closed a 6,7 million SEK VC-led capital round last summer and has now secured an additional 5 million SEK, specifically aimed at product development. New investors include the Finnish VC company Gorilla Capital, investment company RadCap and the angel network Nyfikna Investerare as well as Fundrella’s new tech partner VNTRS.

Emelie Meurk Demerud is an established profile within entrepreneurship, investments and board work. She has during her career founded several companies, such as Hedy, a tech innovation agency helping impact entrepreneurs to take their ideas to launch and scale up. Emelie has also founded deb. (diverse executive boards), a company aiming at increasing diversity in Sweden’s boardrooms and to help board professionals upskill their competence. She was recently nominated for Tech Leader of the Year.
